ABout Me

So, you want to know more about the guy behind the lens?

I'm a proud Yorkshireman; tea-drinking, flat cap wearing, cricket-loving.

I trained as an actor, and spent a number of years performing throughout the UK and across the globe. Storytelling is in my blood, whether it be on stage or with a camera in my hand.

As a wedding photographer, I have the best job in the world - capturing those love stories to be cherished for years to come.

I'm Yorkshire based, but travel throughout the United Kingdom - and would love to shoot abroad should the opportunity arise.

I first picked up a camera during my first summer break at drama school, I was bored and looking for a new project to kill some time - little did I know that it would turn into something more serious.

I spent hours and hours honing my craft, and upon returning to drama school starting shooting productions and actor headshots. If you're looking for headshots, find me here or on Headshot Hunter.

Weddings were a natural step for me, as much like shooting a theatrical production it is about anticipating those storytelling moments - making sure the memories and essence of the day are captured.

with a cinematic finish

On the day I work in a non-obtrusive and photojournalistic way, but I also like to try to be a calming presence on your wedding day. I know being in front of a camera can be daunting, and I won't expect you to carry out pose after pose, but will give you subtle guidance where I can to get those breathtaking images you will want on your mantelpiece.

I put as much effort into post-production as I do on your big day. I spend hours individually going through your images, colour correcting, tidying, and choosing between colour and black & white - all your wedding photographs will have my signature style to really show off your big day

I edit with a natural style, with a slight cinematic finish - because every love story is worthy of the Hollywood treatment.

But who are you really?

We don't deserve dogs, they are too good. Always a trusty companion, even when they are up to mischief and chewing something they shouldn't be.

Here's me with my little man, Oslo, when he was out on his first walk - what a good boy.

Guilty Pleasures

We all have our guilty pleasures, those things that bring us joy, here are mine.

Woodland Walks
