best of Twenty twenty two

In the blink of an eye, 2022 has been and gone. In the no-mans land that is the week between Christmas and New Year I've been reflecting on exactly what has happened. What a year it has been.

Like many wedding photographers I guess, I kind of felt like an imposter when I started taking bookings back in 2019. 2020 was a write off, and 2021 was stop start - so fast forward to 2022 which has ended up being my first full wedding season. It has been an incredible year and I’m so grateful for each and every one of my couples that put their trust in me to document their wedding day.

2022 has been nothing short of incredible, I’ve had some really memorable experiences at weddings this year; I've shot a ceremony from under an umbrella in the pouring rain. I’ve been to new venues, and re-visited old favourites. I’ve signed the register as a witness on a few occasions. Snapped a few rainbows as they've appeared just at the right moment. I’ve loved every single moment of it.

Thank you so much if you’ve worked with me this year, not just to my couples, but all the suppliers I’ve worked alongside with, you’ve been amazing.

I hope you've had a lovely Christmas. I'll leave you with some of my favourite frames from the year, some of the best wedding photography I think I've produced over the last 12 months.

To all my 2023 bride and groom's, I hope you're as excited as I am. Not long now.
