Hayley & Ryan - Woodstock Weddings, York

Hayley & Ryan had the best of the March sunshine for their wedding at Woodstock Weddings in York. This wedding was good for the soul, an all around wonderful day enjoyed by all - look how much fun they had.

Located in 20 acres of woodland, and only 10 minutes or so away from the centre of York, Woodstock Weddings is one of the most charming venues in the area.

A former horse stud converted into a fabulous venue hosting 50 to 300 guests whilst still offering a charming and intimate experience. With its oak beamed ceilings, and mixture of contemporary and rustic features it certainly is a perfect venue for a bespoke wedding.

With the weather being a glorious 20 degrees, in March (I know), the day centred around the courtyard with it's fountain centrepiece. Despite Ryan being rather nervous in the build up to the ceremony, it was smiles all day for Hayley and Ryan as they had the big day they'd always dreamed of.

As a wedding photographer, this gorgeous venue is everything you need to create stunning images and capture those memories that will be passed down the years.

Hayley and Ryan knew that Woodstock weddings was for them the first time they stepped foot on the premises. Private and accommodating, it's a hidden gem of a wedding venue.

Wedding days can sometimes feel like a rush. A flurry of running around trying to make small talk, and checking everyone is okay. A few of the guests commented on how relaxed the day was - all in days work!

It was a glorious 20 degrees, in March. I did worry that I could have done with some sun-lotion so nice was the weather. Hayley & Ryan's two little ones decided they did not want to be left out, and joined them for the ceremony. And why not?
