Middleton Lodge really has everything, so for a winter wedding where the weather does it’s own thing, there’s still lots of wedding photograph magic to be had. Harriet & Nico had the most amazing Middleton Lodge wedding, it was a fine way to sign off 2022.

Middleton Lodge, an award-winning estate in Yorkshire’s picturesque Dales, provides a dream wedding experience with its 200-acre Georgian house and renowned walled gardens. Whether you choose the sixteen-bedroom main house with delightful reception rooms and bar area, or the two-acre Walled Gardens with Fig House, Middleton Lodge offers a unique setting for couples to tie the knot in majestic surroundings.

The Fig House features floor-to-ceiling doors that open onto the garden and can accommodate long English Garden feasts, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every wedding guest.

The rains came, but that didn’t spoil Harriet and Nico’s Middleton Lodge wedding. With the gorgeous backdrop and lighting in the Fig House, it wasn’t even an issue when it came to couple’s portraits.

Black tie weddings in winter are a vibe. Formal, clean cut, it just works. And that simplistic, custom-made dress from Thumbelina of York was so elegant and perfectly suited Harriet.

The flowers from Bud Floral decorated the venue perfectly, and the table runner was a real star of the show. Glen Roughead set the atmosphere with the music as Harriet & Nico enjoyed an intimate celebration with their friends and family. DJ Mark Green really had the party jumping in the evening.
