The processing of your personal data, such as your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number shall always be in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

By Personal Information, we are referring to a visitor’s personal name, e-mail address and any other information they deem fit to provide. Personal Information can be gathered via an online contact form, by the posting of a comment in relation to content on the site, or by interacting with one of Sam Chipman Photography's Social Media platforms.

 

If you engage our services and become a client we will only use your personal data to enable us to provide a fully professional service to you. We do not share any of your personal data with anyone else.

If you become one of our clients we will detail how we may use the photographs we take on social media, our websites and for marketing purposes in a contract that is agreed and signed by both you (the client) and us (Sam Chipman Photography).

If you become one of our clients and give us express permission to do so we will also add you to a mailing list which is stored on Mailchimp. This is a third-party mailing service that allows us to keep you up to date with any new services or offers that we have. Mailchimp’s services are in line with the GDPR and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary. If once you have been in touch, we no longer need to store your data, we will delete it. You have the right to contact us at any time for confirmation of what information we hold about you. You have the right at any time to request that any information we hold be deleted without undue delay.

If you are a client of ours we are required by UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years
