There is no doubt that the impact of us homosapiens is shaping the environment around us - and in a lot of senses, not in a good way. Global temperatures are on the rise, many species of animals grow nearer to extinction, and air quality is reducing. We all need to play our part in ensuring that the planet we live on is looked after.
One site that I visited suggests that a wedding can produce as many CO2 emissions as five people would in an entire year. So it is no wonder more and more couples are now looking for more sustainable options for their wedding. When Ilkley Manor House suggested a sustainable styled shoot to myself and Mark Your Occassion I just had to get on board and help make it happen. The team, and results of the shoot, you can find below. If you're looking for more sustainable and eco-friendly options for your wedding be sure to check the suppliers listed at the bottom of this post.
